Bolt’s favorite pastime is bolting after flies, and he hopes that one day he will be allowed to chase after those pesky ducks, too. Bolt is a two to four-year-old Yorkie mix who was surrendered to the Duplin County Animal Services on June 15th with his family in tow. There were four sweet little Yorkie mixes in total and, unfortunately, they needed a lot of help. All of them needed to be shaved down due to the condition of their fur, and they also had pretty bad ear infections. To top it all off, three of the four tested heartworm positive. Sadly, Bolt was one of the three.
