Who doesn’t want to cuddle with Cuddles? This adorable two to three-year-old Lab-Shepherd Mix ended up at the Lee County Animal Shelter in South Carolina on March 1st after being surrendered by her owner, who had said Cuddles had too many puppies... yes, that was the reason. In the short span of her life, Cuddles had been a mother to multiple litters, and she was worse for the wear. Her previous owner stated that Cuddles had two litters each year, and that they were always large litters. Sadly, it was obvious that Cuddles didn’t get the kind of care and love that she deserved. She was positive for heartworms, Lyme disease and Ehrlichiosis, and she needed treatment.
