It would take more than a nod and a wink to save Tink! This one-year-old Pit Bull mix arrived as a stray at the Rowan County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on September 4th. Tink needed to get out of the shelter by September 10th or she would face a gruesome death by gassing. It didn't help that Tink was a Pit Bull mix and a black dog; both greatly reduced her odds of getting adopted or taken by a rescue.
