While Hank literally didn't have a leg to stand on, that didn't stop others from from putting their best foot forward to save him. Hank is a five-year-old tripod Treeing Walker Coonhound who was surrendered to the Sampson County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on July 6th. It's unknown why he was surrendered and no explanation was provided for his missing leg. Fortunately, he seems to do fine on three legs. However, when Hank tested heartworm positive, his life was suddenly in grave danger at the shelter.
