With one brown eye and one blue eye, Keyu's tale is sad enough to have him singing "Don't It Make My Brown Eye Blue!" This three-year old Siberian Husky arrived on July 24th at the Sampson County Animal Shelter in North Carolina. Although Keyu came to the shelter as a stray and was named Blake, someone at the shelter recognized the dog to be Keyu and knew the owners. When they called his name, he responded immediately. Keyu's owners were contacted, but they never came for him. So there he was, stuck at the shelter with his life hanging in the balance. Testing heartworm positive only added to his woes.
