Boy, oh boy, there was no joy for poor Geoboy. This two-year-old American Bulldog-Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix was picked up by animal control on August 19th, along with his sister. The siblings, both strays, were taken to the Bryan County Animal Control shelter in Georgia where, sadly, they both contracted an illness. His sister did not survive. Fortunately, the shelter director was able to nurse Geoboy back to health. But, he still had an infected boil between his shoulder blades that was painful and seeping. Even worse, the shelter was small and full. Geoboy was first on the list to be euthanized.
