Little Hopper is a real showstopper! He got his name because when he arrived at the Duplin County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on May 14th, he had a severe wound on his foot that caused him to hop around. The injury turned out to be a puncture wound, probably from a bullet. The wound was cleaned and he was placed on antibiotics. Hopper, a two-year-old Beagle-Terrier mix, was an immediate shelter favorite. What Hopper needed was hope to get pulled by a rescue.
