If the Oreo is “Milk’s Favorite Cookie,” this Oreo can be someone’s favorite dog! He’s a big, friendly four-year-old Hound Retriever Bully mix who loves to play. He used to live and play with a little boy, but his owners said he got “too big” and the boy became scared to play with him. So on January 22nd, Oreo got stuck in a kennel at the Darlington County Humane Society shelter in South Carolina instead of in a loving family home. To make things even worse, it turned out he was heartworm positive. With all the strikes against him, he ended up in the shelter for a very long time.
