Little Quincy is RADAR's first Schipperke mix. This is a Belgian breed that was originally used as watchdogs on boats, which accounts for the name pronunciation: "Skipper-kee." Six-year-old Quincy might also have some Chihuahua in his mix. He arrived as a stray on October 1st at the Vance County Animal Control shelter in North Carolina. While Quincy had a great personality, he also had his share of problems: his walking was a little off balance, he had a few patches of thin hair, and he was heartworm positive.
