Helping Dharma could only result in good karma! This 18-month-old Pit Bull mix arrived as a stray at the Lee County Animal Services shelter in North Carolina on September 6th. Dharma was found wandering around an apartment complex. Although some residents had been feeding her, she had no known owner, and was in a terrible state of neglect. Dharma's skin was so infected, that she would bleed at the slightest touch. She was also very withdrawn and despondent.
