​Sometimes trying to help an at-risk dog is like pulling teeth, but with Charlie and Girl, pulling teeth is exactly what they needed! Four-year-old Charlie and two-year-old Girl, both Bully Breeds, were surrendered together to the Surry County Animal Control shelter in North Carolina on July 11th. One of their owners had died and the other was very ill and could not keep the dogs. While Charlie and Girl were heartworm negative, both of them needed dental care, including teeth that needed to be extracted.
