For Primo, the only thing that stood in the way to save his day was a place to stay. Approximately 18 months old and a Hound-Labrador Retriever mix, Primo entered the Sampson County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on March 2nd. No one seems to remember how or why he ended up at the shelter. For two long months he was passed over by adopters and rescues. Despite the toll of the stress of the shelter, Primo's pleasant personality persisted. All that he needed was an advocate.
